Carol Zaloom is an artist and illustrator who works mainly in handcolored linoleum prints. Her clients include Random House, David Godine, HarperCollins, Yankee Magazine, Sky & Telescope, and the New York City Parks Department, among others. In addition to her linocut, inspired by mythological creatures, fairy tales, literature, and Catskills flora and fauna, she also creates monotypes that celebrate the Paleolithic cave painters, and painted baseballs featuring literary and mythical themes, several of which have been commissioned by the director of research at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
One of Woodstock's most respected artists, Carol Zaloom has created this print especially for the benefit of The WSA. This edition will surely sell out quickly. To obtain your copy, become a Friend today.
